NESTORY

Privacy Policy

Effective as of September 6, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Nestory app for mobile devices, operated by Berk Yavuz (the "Service Provider"). It describes what happens to your data when you use Nestory.

The short version

Nestory has no server and no user accounts. Your memories — photos, notes, dates, and locations — are stored only on your own device and, if you're on iOS, backed up to your own iCloud account. The Service Provider never sees, receives, or stores your content anywhere.

What Nestory stores, and where

Nothing is sent to the Service Provider

Nestory does not operate a server. There is no account to create, no email or password to provide, and no database that the Service Provider or Nestory has access to. The Service Provider cannot see, read, or recover your memories — only you, through your own device and your own iCloud account, can.

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising

Nestory does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services. No usage data, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers are collected. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.

Permissions Nestory asks for

You can grant or revoke either permission at any time in your device's Settings. Revoking Photo Library access will make photos in your existing memories stop displaying, as described above.

No social features, no sharing

Nestory has no accounts, no profiles, no followers, no likes, and no way to share a memory with anyone through the app. Your memories are private to you by design.

No cross-platform sync

iOS and Android use separate, unrelated cloud ecosystems (iCloud and Google Drive), and Nestory does not bridge them. A memory created on an iPhone will not currently appear on an Android device, or vice versa.

Children

Nestory is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children, in keeping with the fact that it does not collect or transmit any information at all.

Data deletion

Deleting a memory in the app removes it from your device and, on iOS, from your iCloud backup. Uninstalling the app removes all local data; your iCloud backup (if any) can be managed or removed via your device's iCloud storage settings, since it lives in your own account, not the Service Provider's.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, when Android cloud backup becomes available — this page will be updated with a new effective date.
